zzz_Archived – Basic Riders Course 2 (BRC2)

Curious about available classes? Click the “Online Registration” button below and view the drop down menu for class dates and times.

Formerly referred to as the Experienced Riders Course (ERC): This course is designed as a follow-up to the BRC. The course focuses on honing the riding skills introduced in the previous course; therefore we suggest riders take this course 6 months or 6000 miles after completing the BRC.

Now that you’ve had time practice and perfect the skills you learned in the BRC you’ll be amazed at how much you get out of doing it on your own bike. You will re-visit some of the exercises explored in the basic course and try some new exercises designed to take you to new levels. This is a one day, six-hour, course for the experienced and licensed motorcyclist. It is done on participants own motorcycles and consists only of a range component with riding and group discussions. Students must: have a motorcycle endorsement on their license; motorcycles must be owned by the participant, must be licensed, insured, inspected, and pass a safety (T-CLOCKS) inspection. It is suggested that students have, and be familiar with, the owner’s manuals for their bikes. Class size in Lubbock is minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 riders; and for Dalhart minimum of 5 and maximum of 8 riders.
